Fairytale
Come True The moment Denise and Brad shared their first kiss,
fireworks went off in the sky above. "I
should ask you to marry you right now," he said. The
couple’s subsequent dates were just as magical as the first, so it
wasn’t hard for Denise to imagine a fairytale wedding that would truly
define that term. Held in a historical castle in Germany, the wedding
brought to life every beautiful vision she had, from a horse and carriage
transport to a true princess gown to a highly refined week-long European
experience for the guests, including regional game, a wine tasting, and
boat rides on the nearby river. What kind of
invitation could convey all this? Only the most careful, custom creation.
Denise worked closely with Crazy Daisy Design to determine that she wanted
a wedding icon—a stylized graphic of the castle—and a shimmering,
fairytale collection of textures and pieces. The invitation cover features
two red roses peeking from inset windows. Inside, the package folds out to
three panels, the center featuring the announcement text. The ribbon-bound
sides unwrap like small gifts: On the left, a package of wedding details,
on the right, a response card. The whole invitation tucks into a special
organza keepsake pouch. The result
is simply magical, a magnificent, sumptuous invitation capturing
Denise’s vision, her and Brad’s love, and an event straight from the
legends of long ago. Notes: At
each table, custom wish cards gave guests the chance to give the couple
advice and well-wishes Portfolio:
