Summer
Daisies on the Family Farm Kari and Jon
didn’t have to go far to find each other: They both grew up in the same
small town in Wisconsin. It seemed natural to return to this easygoing,
beautiful setting for their summer wedding, and Kari’s family’s farm
was the ideal place for the big event. While the
picturesque country setting gave the wedding an immediate warmth, the
couple wanted to keep the event formal. Crazy Daisy helped them send the
guests the right message with invitations that conveyed a sense of country
welcome, while letting them know via rich materials and traditional
wording that this would be a solemn occasion, nevermind the elements. Speaking of
elements, Kari knew that an outdoor wedding has its risks, and her August
wedding day had a good chance of being an old-fashioned hot summer day.
Enough wedding programs do double duty as fans, so she decided to let
guests know that was absolutely the right thing to do: We printed the
program notes directly on large blue, yellow and red paper fans, so guests
could cool off in style. Portfolio: Guestbook, place cards, thank you cards, and paper fan programs. Crazy Daisy also designed custom labels for the family’s homemade syrup, given to each guest as a unique favor. |
